I made an embroidered quilt too. It was a baby quilt for my youngest son, 53" square. I saved it, thinking he'd want to use it with his own kids, but, when the time came he didn't want it. I made a new baby quilt for his daughter, but I never saw them use it. They thought she preferred her fake fur giraffe blankie. The quilt got yellowed where it was folded. I never tried to wash it, just got it out to offer it, then put it away again. Maybe I should get rid of it... I drew the frog and dragonflies, but the applique water lily blocks were a purchased pattern preprinted.
