I just found out that snoring is a very serious issue! My 4 year old would complain of her forehead hurting and she became a bit hyper at times and her attention span would also be questionable. After several doctors visits of different doctors my pediatric neurologist told me her tonsils are too large and he wants me to have her go back to an ENT and have a sleep study done. He said if she is snoring loudly every night she is not getting a deep enough sleep and the right oxygen flow which could cause major medical problems! Snoring is apparently not something to take lightly if it is an every night thing and loud as well. He told me once we have her tonsils and adnoids taken out we should see a healthier, happier child for sure!
Please anyone who does snore loudly or knows someone who does have it checked!
