Once in a great while I will get a little achy, but that is about it. A nice warm bath or shower and a couple of Tylenol and I'm good to go with no pain. I'm not saying this would work for everyone, but it sure did for me.
I'm so glad you found someone who could help you. Sounds like a wonderful doctor you have.
