Default When making mistakes when do you stop?

I just spent the last hour working on a special baby quilt I am making. I made my first mistake on one of the borders and had to tear the whole thing out because I put it on backwards. I kept on going. Then I made another mistake on the same border putting it back on. Now I am taking a break. Either my eyes are very tired. I only got the solid ring out of my eye yesterday from the procedure I had done less than a week ago or I have worked to long on it period. I find that when I work at somethings I make mistakes and they just keep on coming at me unless I stop for a couple hours and then come back. I am sure that many of us do something similar. My question is what kind of time do you put to rest after mistakes start happening? Or do you just keep on plugging. How many mistakes do you make before you have to stop and redirect?
