I did it, I'm so proud of myself. Someone on the board posted links for new patterns yesterday. And, upon looking, I found several I wanted to make. My first thought was to buy the fabric to match the demo piece. In fact, I was all ready to roll with 25% off coupon on my phone.
But instead, I decided to check my stash. As luck would have it, by thinking outside the box, I already have the perfect fabric in my stash. And, by getting a little more creative, I will have just enough (very careful cutting) to make the first pattern I saw.
No purchase was made. That coupon is going down!! lol Yipee for me. With the return of my energy, my quilt top making creativity is returning. Now to finish up my 5th UFO top, my next block for a quilt along and then I can start cutting up the fabric for my new top. If I'm really careful, I may have enough for a border. Maybe......I don't like to add borders to all my quilts. But, this one is going to have a lot of seams. It may make it easier for the LA'r to quilt.
