Use of Wool thread in rug
I just made a chanille rug with cotton flannel. I just grabbed a good color of thread. I completely finished it (commenting to myself that the thread was very strange). Upon completion I realized I had used Aurifil Wool Thread. I am horrified. Does this mean I cannot wash, and in particular, I cannot put this rug in the dryer? I am amazed on how thick and heavy the rug is (5 layers of flannel plus one of cotton batting). I plan to use it by the bathtub. I also worry about mold, if it cannot dry quickly enough.
