A couple weeks ago I sent selvages to Gaijin for her project, expecting nothing in return. I was just happy to get them out of my way and extra glad someone wanted them.

Imagine my surprise, then, when I received a little thank-you gift in the mail. She had absolutely no way of knowing that I had been wanting a new makeup bag for my purse, or that I had tried to make my first one--and failed.

Gaijin took several of my cute selvages and added them to other cuties, and her darling fabric for the reverse side, and sewed up this delightful zipper pouch for me. It's just perfect for my makeup, and just in time for my trip to South Carolina next week!

Thank you so much, Gaijin. You really know how to make this gal happy.
