Ha, I have an old Kenmore (purchased in 71) too. My girl friend gave me a cozy bowl with directions and was perfect.
I just finished my second one. Everything went perfect until I turn it in side out and to top stitch it. It's awful!
My batting must be too thick and too big. I watched the utube video. What was the size of your blocks and the size of your batting? Mine was 9 inch batting and 10 inch block. I sewed right on the edge of the batting as directions said. Any suggestions?
