It's not a good design at all. Very finicky, not just a difference, but a flaw, IMHO. I don't know if my foot or even my foot holder is just defective. I put the zigzag foot on and it wobbles too. Hmmm. I may want to see if I can try another machine. The wobble is really bad, and I would think if it was common, I'd hear complaints. I searched Amazon reviews on the feet and only one other person talked about the wobble. Hmmm.
