Finally finished the scrappy blue string quilt in the middle of the night. Had more problems with this one than I've ever had before. The strings are backed on muslin which made it very heavy and my quilting machine was skipping stitches left and right. All stitches are repaired and it needs to be washed and needs a label. Sammy Jo decided to photo-bomb the quilt as he loves the color blue for some reason. (Honestly!) I want to make my first string quilt and I want it to look just like yours . My question is on each block do you lay down the strips in the same pattern or do you use random strings ? I will be using blues .
