Barb, we are only moving closer to where I work. 83 miles closer that is!
I've got 9 years to retire, and then we'll move south to be closer to our adult kids, who both ended up in the Atlanta GA area. When I took this job and we moved to South Dakota 17 years ago, we had horses and needed land for that. We sold the horses several years ago, and DH is getting tired of all the work to maintain land we have no need for. He is so looking forward to having a yard he can push mow in less than half an hour.
