I do! And I love it! I"m like you Onebyone. I buy clothes when I need them and then it's mostly basics like pants, underwear, socks and shirts. I make some of my tops and almost all of my jackets. I'm not extravagant about shoes and purses. I have a lot but that's mostly because I buy things that last and don't get caught up in what is the "latest". I also buy fabric, books and gadgets when I want because I feel that it's okay and I'm worth it.
