I just finished making a baby quilt for my daughter's friend from school. A very special pregnancy long worked for and hard gained. The parents picked the colors, I did the rest.
Soft calm colors is not my go to for babies. LOL

I also finished, just today, a comfort quilt for an 8th grade girl with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. She is a friend of my granddaughter. I normally don't use black in comfort quilts, but this one really called out for it and both my daughter and granddaughter wanted me to use it, so I did. They both said this Jewel Box quilt is definitely her!
