Thank you for posting your situation with the Kaffe Fassett prints and additional colorful solids. I've gone through the "adventure" of making HST with the print and accompanying solid. Heartbreak. My experiment was an accidental nightmare. I ended up carefully unsewing the individual blocks on the diagonal as they were taken down from the design wall. The K.F. triangles have been pressed and trimmed down a bit. They remain in isolation storage. I did find a neutral K.F. light grey with silvery polkadots. Now my plan is to make the HST with the neutral fabric. I don't know if I will continue with simple HST or combine units to form another design. You are not alone when it comes to finding a pleasant setting for solids and prints. Happy Thanksgiving!
