Thank you so much for the hints and suggestions, everything said has been very helpful and I will share with my sister as we go forward to step one. So glad it was mentioned about the temp of the iron. I automatically press everything on high and hold the iron down, I would hate to do that with the polyesters, I'd ruin the quilt and the iron both at the same time.
