Can you believe I actually forgot yesterday was opening day!!! I had a potluck to attend in the evening and spent all day baking tarts and cookies for my dessert platter. I officially hate decorating gingerbread men.
So, I've had a delightful time this morning opening a pile of gifts from Carolinepaj. Thank you Caroline!! I love that everything was individually wrapped, giving me lots of opening fun. I've been following Bonnie Hunter's blog for years and often thought about buying from her, but never have. I'm especially delighted with the pattern book. And the floss is beautiful. I love the feel of the silky threads. My late mother-in-law collected birds, and the little bird makes me think fondly of her.
