If you know how they baste their quilts, I can't think of anyone who wouldn't love a can of their favorite basting spray, but only if they use it!!! It's less than $20 so it's an acceptable price for a present, but I never buy it for myself unless I'm 'splurging.'

If your quilter reads, or likes books, either that book they've been coveting or one of the quilting mystery series books would be nice. Amish Quilt Shop mysteries by Isabella Alan, the Elm Creek Quilts series by Jennifer Chiaverini or one of Earlene Fowler's Benni Harper mysteries (all the titles are the names of quilt blocks, like Tumbling Blocks,) they're all good. I like to listen to them while I'm working, and it makes it even better, because I get to do two things I love at the same time, quilting and reading!

Of your quilter is already a book listener, or listens to music, a new pair if headphones is always on my list. I snag the cord and give them a short. Even the wireless ones have a hard life around me. I have 3 or 4 that only have one ear left. The cat gets the blame for half of them, though. That silicone covered wire is irresistible to her.
