Is it "worth" fixing? Considering the hourly rate and maybe the cost of parts it may not be worth it, especially if it's an older, basic machine. If you look at the receipt, you should see how long the maintenance warranty is good for. For me, when I took my machine in to be fixed the problem reappeared soon afterwards. I was able to take it back in and the re-fixed it for free as the maintenance was good for 90 days. But, if you've had it in storage for 4-6 mos. the dealer will most likely charge you.
