All the above that saying it needs to be fixed. I would think if left as is you will end up very unhappy with your quilt. I always trim my quilts and check both sides to make sure I have a 1/4" or sometimes a 3/8" seam all around.
Fixing errors like that is worth all the time it takes to fix.
