I use my inkjet printer on all the labels, then soak in my kitchen sink in warm water, remove one sheet from the water, lay it face down, and rub off the paper, the ink will not come off at all, and remains intact for all time. The only time I press the sheets is to turn over the sides that do not go under the binding. I do a lot of memory quilts for friends whom have lost their spouse, and the pictures I include in those quilts are still as good as the day I printed them, after a few washings. This one I am currently working on. Included fabrics from some of her husbands shirts that she liked.
