blog entry entry where the author describes how she pre-shrinks both batting (including wool) and fabric (including kits and pre-cuts). (Summary of it - soak batting in hot water in the washer, then drain and run the spin cycle and dry in the dryer; use a zippered lingerie bag to protect smaller pieces of fabric in the washer and dryer.)
