My sewing room doubles as a guest room, so I use a desk covered with cutting mats to do my cutting. When I use it as a desk, I just write or whatever on the mats. I would love to have the top be a little higher and may figure out some way to create risers for it. Then it will be tough to use as a desk, but easier to cut on top of.
