I have the table that NJQuilter mentions. The only thing I wish was different--it's 35" wide, not 36! But the height is comfortable and it could be folded down if I didn't have so much under it. --or on it!! If you use a traditional table, there are devices that are of use for dorm beds that can get a table up to the right height for you when standing. They are very stable.
