I had an old wooden dresser in the basement. It has 2 deep drawers and a narrower drawer at the top. I cleaned it up, decoupaged flower to the drawer fronts and now use it as my cutting table. The narrow drawer holds all my rulers and cutters. The deeper drawers hold all my solids fabric sorted by color. It's taller than a table so is the right cutting height for me. My cutting mat fits on top with plenty of room to lay and stack fabrics on both sides. My long rulers fit nicely also.
