I used a fat quarter bundle of flannels and chose minky for the Name/ monogram section. The pattern calls for a monogram but the parents wanted the baby's name. Its a great pattern for showing off prints and the simple assembly makes it fast and easy for beginners. I decided to leave the label open at the top and slipped in a book for story-time!
