We had flooding rains turn to snow and sleet yesterday afternoon. I had my current quilt project all laid out to work on, and work called me in. The trek up there wasn't bad, but people were panicking and I had a rough night. Took me almost twice as long as normal to get home in the mess last night, and I am about to head back up there to sort out the damage.

My best deep fryer broke in the rush last night...it is almost as old as I am! Fried chicken happens to be on sale too. I am hoping the weather keeps customers home today, because with only one working fryer I am not going to be able to keep up with the after church rush.

At least when I get home all of my quilt pieces will still be laid out waiting for me!
