It's another great day for quilting here, but we picked up our new dogs today instead.

It was about a 40 minute drive each way in a terrible rain storm, sure Seattle "rains" all the time, but it usually doesn't pour crashing buckets of rain so hard you have to use the fast speed on your wipers. Most of us still go around with a pause cycle in normal rain.

The rain was much better on the way home but we've all been warned that the storm is going to hit in a couple more hours, we stopped by Costco on the way back to get gas, but not only was it normal weekend at Costco, but it was also before the storm shopping at Costco and it was too brutal a line. I make jokes about the TV stations here getting so excited, but Storm Watch 2020 is in full swing!

But we have food, new dogs, and most importantly sewing stuff to do even if the power goes out. Even a bunch of wood for the fireplace.
