Thank you, that is so nice of you! I'd offer advice if I thought I could! I honestly have no idea how this is going to shake out in a mystery quilt, my choices might be all wrong once I start sewing it up! I'm trying really hard this year to try new things that I haven't done before. These one day mysteries are one thing I hadn't tried before, so here I am. I've also never done mysteries where the colors are only suggested as, "dark, medium, light, favorite print" type directions, so I'm trying that out too. I've only done Bonnie Hunter mysteries where the actual colors are recommended, like use all shades of green, light aqua, sunset pink/oranges, etc. I feel kind of out on a limb with these colors, but I'm going to see what happens!

I know I've had it in my mind to use more pinks and reds this year. I just don't normally reach for them, so my pink and red drawer is getting out of control. I'm also trying to sew up stuff I already have without buying new stuff if I can avoid it. I don't remember if there were pictures of the now sold out kits. I do look at those if I can find them. I'm following a couple quilt alongs by Pat Sloan and I know I used her bundle pictures as a guide to pick from my own stash. I don't remember if that's what I did here, or if I just decided to throw together what I could come up with.

If I wind up with a butt ugly quilt I'll still use it. I sleep in a dark room with my eyes closed, it won't bother me a bit!
