The material looks like some we used in the 50-60"s. I have some quilt tops my MIL made in that time..she hand appliqued dresden plate blocks..(I hope to get them quilted)..Have finished several quilts she started from that time.. with similar fabrics..looks like a cathedral window technique was used to make the center star
