I used a converted changing table for years. Loved the drawers and cabinet below for storing cutting supplies & rulers. It's now my ironing station.
Then I switched to a kitchen island. It was a bit bigger, and also had storage. And it was portable. It had locking wheels.
Then, hubby bought me a Martelli cutting table.
But my favorite spot to actually do the cutting, is the dining table. It's pub height, It's round, I can walk all the way around it, it fits my largest cutting mat (24 x 36), and the lighting is fantastic in the dining room. It's my version of a spinning mat.
