If anyone in the Bay Area wants to introduce someone to fabulous textile art, the San Jose Museum of Quilts & Textiles has a free Community Day Sat. Feb 1 with lots of family-friendly activities. They hold these about once a quarter and are also open free on First Fridays. 520 S. First St in downtown San Jose. More info at sjquiltmuseum.org
