Hello! I've sewn for most of the last 30 or so years on a machine older than I am, and I'm going to be 60 this year. Sometimes it's easy to look at all the fancy things some machines can do, but for the most part all we need is a lot of determination, practice, and a good strong straight stitch along with a consistent seam allowance.
