Binding seams
I always do 45* angles to put my binding strips together....except this one. I was using a material that had stripes and I didn’t have enough so I cut them straight across the fabric. I tried matching up the stripes to do 45*joins but it just wouldn’t work. I ended up sewing them together with straight seams for a good seams but....sure made them bulky when hand stitching to the back. I ended up cutting away the seam allowances from the inside since that was in the fold over. Sometimes you just have to do the best you can.
