Ok I here and see several 'rag' style quilts seem is on top so when washed a few times you get a frayed edge? What happens say after 7 or 8 washes when the fray hits the outside seam? does the quilt fall apart? most seams are inside on quilts. Washed they get little wear/tear from the interior but an external seam would be subjected to more wouldn't it? Do these quilts hold up over time? I like the concept/look but worry is it a temporary quilt? Can you advise?
