I would consider that to be a very good price.
Mine do not have the needle threader thing - which is the only "complaint" I have about them.
I also do not consider them to be easily portable because of their weight and getting them in and out of the carrying cases is kind of a hassle.
But - they sew sooo quietly and I love the serpentine stitch on them.
If you can, try it before you buy it. It is - basically - a mechanical machine.
