QuiltingshortTimer, sorry about the frustrating delay in your DGS’s adoption...but I’m glad you are still going to celebrate.

I have been preoccupied with a room renovation the old part of our late 1700’s home in anticipation of having my two grandsons come visit this coming week (ages 5 and 3 from Key West). So far I have sanded, caulked and repainted the entire floor, painted ceiling, walls and window/door trims but it looks smashing.

I have a large quilt (87x108) on the longarm and hope to get it done this weekend...I’ve just been taking a few passes (edge to edge) a day here and there. I have my Bonnie Hunter mystery in a couple of piles so I really want to finish the last clue so I can start block assembly and I have a scrappy charity quilt in progress. I’ll be looking for your photos and accomplishments...happy sewing.
