Teen: I knew some people used their sergers for piecing because I found some strips serged in donations. However, like you, it isn’t something I was interested in trying. Also, I usually do some straight line quilting on my baby items to stabilize the centers. I use cone thread designed for sergers. I just do basic serging but I know there are different kinds of thread and different attachments available.

I decided to start using a timer again for cleaning/organizing in my sewing area. I get easily distracted otherwise. 10 minutes of cleaning, sorting/cutting, etc. I set it twice today so I was able to get a few things done.
