Welcome to the QB from SE Michigan. Thank your son from all of us for his service! I can only imagine what you might be feeling with your only son so far away. Fortunately he is doing an important job. Quilting will continue to get you through the many days of concern and hopefully be a lot of fun and and enjoyable art for you. I can't wait to see some of your quilting projects! Just jump right in and join the fun.
