Default MSQC Easy Hunter Star Completed

I decided to try this Easy Hunter's Star pattern from Missouri Star Quilt Company. I used a batik from my stash that I had left over from curtains I made for our motor home. The quilt is intended for the jack-knife sofa in the motor home, that currently has a brown dog cover on it to protect the light blue fabric from our dog's feet.

I wanted to quilt it in a way that would accentuate the stars and the arrow heads. I learned a few things with this quilt, and I guess that is always a goal. I discovered that I can not do even curve designs free hand and should have used a curved ruler, with a straight ruler for the arrow shafts in the arrow heads. Oh well, as my husband says, the queen won't be visiting and it will still keep us warm in the evenings while we watch movies on that couch.

I used Hobbs 80/20 batting, and fireside fleece for the backing. I had Wonderfil Deco-bob thread in the bobbin and used my ThreadArt embroidery thread on the top.

Thanks for looking.
