I posted on another thread that I found a family heirloom quilt that my MIL made in 1972. I decided I wanted to replicate the quilt by making triplicates for the surviving kids in the family.

So to do this I made one of my own just so I could get an idea as to how she made the quilt. I used fabrics out of my stash and spent most of Saturday sorting, cutting ,and arranging the blocks.

This morning I pulled out one of my treadles and I set up in the entryway and living room and started sewing it together. And the blocks that she had out of line I did the same thing with this one. As you can see from a fabric or two that it will be my quilt!! :lol: :lol:

I am going to sandwich it and SITD then I am going to tie it like the original with orange yarn.
