When you have a new quilt pattern, and it comes in different sizes, but you really want to make the king-size, do you try making the throw size first to see how it sews out or just jump in and make the king-size? Thanks
I may make a single block, just to check my seam size, critical places for points and if my color choices really look good as placed in the block. Then off I go to make the larger quilt. Unless you have a place or individual to share the throw, I would skip it and plunge in to making the large quilt.
