If you can't tell from the photos, our floors are stained concrete. We recently finished building our "retirement home" and need rugs, rugs, rugs. This rug is in front of the kitchen sink, and the quilt is my new couch snuggler. It finished a little smaller than I usually make, but I like the size for snuggling.
I was worried about stains and wear, so I sprayed rug top with "Scotch Guard". Haven't washed it yet.
My sewing machine was in storage for almost a year! while we built. (also unfinished projects). Torture! I actually revisited counted cross stitching for creative release! Now I'm catching up, I guess.
