Plus when you clip, you don't clip the whole way to the seam. You have a 1/2 inch seam and only clip a 1/4 inch. of course it may fray farther than you clip, but even if it does you have the long threads to kind of hold it all together. I haven't ever seen one fall apart when clipped correctly!
