I love my Ott lamps. I have 3 of them. They must be about 15 years old. I have changed the bulbs and no further problems.
I too have two ott lights that I have had for a long time. Have never replaced bulb yet. Also have a couple different styles that I have picked up at garage sales. All seem to still work.
