It definitely looks like a crumb quilt. The backing looks like a couple of sheet seamed down the middle. I for one would not pay the asking price. Even though it looks to be vintage. It also looks like it took the quilter a very long time to make this quilt and it also was most likely a very beautiful quilt when new. I personally would back away from it.
