I don’t want to be premature, but I oiled that circle that sits below the bobbin case, and I oiled underneath the bobbin case itself, and I put the machine through some rigorous straight stitching. No noise. I am crossing my fingers, but it makes sense that this might have helped a whole lot! I’ll let you know after a few days of sewing but I am thinking very optimistically.
