I like to buy machines that I've never owned and try them out. I bought a Pfaff Tiptronic on Ebay and although it had that nifty attached quilting foot and sewed the best stitches I've ever seen, we did not see eye-to-eye. I ended up selling it to gal who needed a 2nd Tiptronic for her other home.
I think we all have a duty to buy and try out every single brand of sewing machine ever made.
