Thanks, everyone. Hmm, I wonder if it's just a normal noise, then? Seems odd that I didn't notice it before, though. The manual says it doesn't require oiling, but I will try and check for the needle again. Otherwise I think I'll just proceed with caution and hope nothing really breaks.
