I now have 17 blocks done. I am going nice and slow so I don't make a mistake. They are continuing to come out perfect. I had to do a bit of 'scrap' cutting. When I discovered I didn't have enough for 16 blocks. I went back into the scraps I had from the first die cutting and discovered not only did I have enough pieces for a 16th but for a whole 20! Now there are only the smallest of scraps left. I was so afraid I would have to use a different fabric combination to finish a 16th block that I started searching for that before I checked the left over scraps! I learned a very valuable lesson there. Save time and distress, look first! It will be several more days before I have the top finished.
