So there I was, zipping together those Rail Fence blocks when the replacement vintage pedal I got started making rather alarming crackling noises... no smoke, don't smell ozone, it isn't hot to touch but I am keeping it unplugged for now. Shop will be open again on Tuesday -- so after this break and cup of coffee it's back to the Brother for me.
I wonder if I can strap it to the table with some blue tape... that might improve the experience. I already do have a cling mat under it which was a big improvement from just being on the table.
